ARAM, like the entire Amatrician community, is struck with grief by the passing of Massimo Fraioli, an emblematic figure who revolutionized our cultural identity. He was one of the founders of the Spaghetti all'Amatriciana Festival, an event that brought the authentic flavors of our territory to international stages, and he gave birth to the Pro Loco, a driving force for social and territorial promotion. His vision was also expressed in his roles in the Municipal Administration and at the Banca degli Amatriciani.
It is almost superfluous to recall his impeccable professionalism: a brilliant surgeon, hospital primary physician, and medical director—he dedicated his life to caring for and assisting others, from daily emergencies here in Amatrice to missions in Africa.
The Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Amatrice embraces the family and friends in this time of mourning.
His vision is and must remain a solid example to guide us in the social reconstruction of our territory.
