On 3 February 2025, at the Chamber of Deputies (Sala Tatarella) in Rome, the press conference entitled “6 March, a historic date: the first International Amatriciana Day” was held, during which the official logo and the programme for the three-day event on 6–7–8 March in Amatrice were presented.

The initiative is promoted by ARAM – the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Amatrice, under the patronage of the Municipality of Amatrice, Roma Tre University, the Lazio Region, and the Chamber of Commerce of Rieti and Viterbo.

The programme includes thematic conferences, workshops, visits to reconstruction sites, walking and e-bike excursions, and tastings, with the aim of enhancing the area’s resources and excellence—the very territory that gave rise to a dish that has become a symbol of Italian tradition worldwide.
